Your new challenge in auditing in Lucerne

Become part of BDO and take responsibility for auditing our clients in the public sector, mainly in the Central Switzerland market area. Certified Public Accountant as Head of Public Sector Audit Mandates (m/f/d) 50-100%

What you will achieve

• Together with our young and motivated colleagues, you ensure the professional auditing and consulting of our clients, primarily public administrations and affiliated enterprises
• You provide comprehensive advice to our clients on accounting and financial reporting (HRM) as well as on the preparation of financial statements and support them in assessing business processes and the introduction and further development of internal control systems
• In your specialist leadership role, you train our aspiring auditors on the job
• You also have the opportunity to contribute to the design and further development of internal tools and processes in the auditing area
• You are an entrepreneurial-minded individual and enjoy participating in the acquisition of new clients
• You maintain and expand the network with key figures from the public administration sector

What makes you successful

• You are a certified public accountant and a licensed audit expert
• You have practical experience in the public administration sector and/or in the non-profit organisation sector
• You have experience in accounting or auditing of municipalities or cantons
• You are a team player, possibly with leadership experience, and quickly connect with people through your authentic and positive manner
• You feel comfortable in a digital and dynamic working environment
• You have excellent command of the German language, both written and spoken
