Medical Assistant

On behalf of a specialised medical practice located in Lausanne, we are looking for a Medical Assistant (m/f) at 80% for a temporary replacement from 1st November to 5th February. By joining this establishment, you will enter a structured and human-sized working environment, where your expertise directly benefits young patients and their families.

Within the structure, you will work in tandem with a fellow medical assistant and support the activity of two paediatricians. Your duties are evenly split between administrative management and technical tasks:

• Provide attentive reception to children, adolescents and their parents, as well as manage the practice's administrative tasks.

• Perform routine care procedures adapted to paediatrics, such as blood sampling, vaccine administration and assistance during consultations.

• Actively participate in organising the monitoring of psychomotor development, preventive visits and treatment of minor emergencies.

• Ensure proper maintenance of medical records and strict adherence to the practice's procedures.

Fixed weekly schedule:

_ Monday: 8:15 am to 12:15 pm

_ Tuesday: 8:15 am to 6:00 pm

_ Wednesday: 8:15 am to 7:00 pm

_ Thursday: 8:15 am to 12:30 pm

_ Friday: 8:15 am to 6:15 pm

To successfully join our client’s team and ensure impeccable continuity of care, the following criteria are required:

• Holder of a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a medical assistant or an equivalent qualification. Graduates from the EU or EFTA are also welcome.

• Confirmed professional experience, ideally strengthened by prior experience in paediatrics.

• Mastery of paediatric care procedures and ease in relating to young patients.

• A sense of responsibility, autonomy and proven teamwork skills.
