Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a qualified professional as a Draftsperson EFZ Civil Engineering for an established engineering and planning company specialising in structural civil engineering and structural design. You will work on diverse construction projects across all relevant SIA planning phases and support project managers and civil engineers in technical project planning. The focus is on CAD planning with Allplan 3D, creating formwork, reinforcement, and construction plans, as well as digital building modelling. The position offers varied tasks in reinforced concrete and structural engineering with modern BIM planning methods.

Responsibilities:

• Structural civil engineering: Handling new construction, conversion, and renovation projects in building construction across all relevant planning phases

• CAD planning with Allplan 3D: Creating and editing project, execution, and detail plans as well as digital structural models

• Formwork and reinforcement planning: Developing formwork, reinforcement, and position plans for reinforced concrete structures

• 3D modelling and BIM: Developing and maintaining digital structural models and participating in model-based planning and coordination processes

• Structural design: Drafting ceilings, walls, columns, foundations, and other load-bearing components

• Project planning according to SIA: Supporting project management in the technical processing of preliminary design, construction design, tendering, and execution planning

• Specialist planner coordination: Coordinating structural plans and 3D models with architecture, building services, and other disciplines

• Detail and construction planning: Developing component connections, structural details, and technical execution solutions

• Plan management and quality assurance: Checking and updating CAD plans, model versions, plan revisions, and execution documents

• Project support: Assisting project managers and project engineers with technical clarifications, planning adjustments, and project documentation

• Digital planning processes: Applying and further developing modern CAD, BIM, and 3D planning methods to optimise project processing

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as Draftsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering

• CAD skills in structural civil engineering planning, preferably with Allplan 3D

• Knowledge in formwork, reinforcement, and execution planning of reinforced concrete and building structures

• Basic knowledge of 3D modelling and BIM planning as well as interest in digital planning methods

• Knowledge of building construction, structural design, and relevant Swiss SIA standards is an advantage

• Initial professional experience in structural civil engineering is an advantage; career starters with the appropriate EFZ training are also welcome

• Good German language skills for technical project processing and planning documentation
