Draftsperson Specialising in Architecture (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a committed professional for the processing of plans for demanding architectural and building projects. You will create construction project, building permit, execution, and detail plans and accompany diverse construction projects through all relevant planning phases. The focus is on precise 2D and 3D planning with ArchiCAD, the constructive development of architectural concepts, and ensuring high planning quality. The position combines technical drawing, design understanding, and independent project processing with collaboration in an interdisciplinary architectural team.

Responsibilities:

• Creation and processing of architectural plans for demanding building projects in new construction, renovation, and refurbishment

• Development of construction project, building permit, execution, and detail plans considering the respective project requirements

• Digital construction and modelling of buildings in 2D and 3D with ArchiCAD including ongoing maintenance and updating of planning models

• Constructive development of architectural designs focusing on technical feasibility, materialisation, and design quality

• Creation of precise working and detail drawings for façades, building envelopes, interior fittings, and constructive connections

• Participation in project and approval planning including preparation of required plans and technical documents

• Coordination and integration of specialist planner information from structural engineering, building services, and other disciplines into architectural planning

• Review and updating of planning documents regarding dimensional accuracy, completeness, constructive correctness, and compliance with project specifications

• Contribution to the development of economical and practical construction solutions in close collaboration with architects and project managers

• Organisation and management of digital planning documents and project documentation as well as ensuring structured data storage

• Independent processing of assigned planning tasks while adhering to agreed deadlines, quality standards, and internal project procedures

• Active participation in project and planning meetings and support of the project team throughout the various planning and implementation phases

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture or as a building draftsperson

• Practical experience in creating construction project, building permit, execution, and detail plans in Swiss building construction

• Advanced knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD planning, especially very good user skills in ArchiCAD

• Confident handling of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 as well as experience in digital management and processing of planning documents

• Strong understanding of building construction, materials, construction processes, and architectural design as well as knowledge of relevant Swiss building regulations and SIA standards

• Independent, structured, and precise working style with a high sense of responsibility for planning quality, punctuality, and constructive accuracy

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as teamwork, initiative, and enjoyment of collaboration across all relevant project phases
