System/Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is an IT service provider specialising in the planning, installation and operation of networks, server systems and computer systems as well as consulting. Their clients come from various sectors such as tourism, transport, healthcare, fiduciary and finance.
Responsibilities:
Independent implementation of server and network projects as well as active development of security services
Development of customer-oriented IT solutions and support in projects
Handling of 1st and 3rd level support requests remotely and on-site at the customer
Maintenance and support of customer systems, servers, networks, firewalls, peripherals, AV, backup and monitoring
Qualifications:
Completed IT training specialising in system technology
3-4 years of professional experience as a system technician in a service environment
Solid knowledge of networks, firewalls (ideally Fortinet), switches, current Microsoft server operating systems, Microsoft Exchange and VMware vSphere
Driving licence category B
Very good German language skills spoken and written
