* Personnel and professional leadership of a team of around 8 to 14 personnel consultants
* Recruitment and onboarding of new employees
* Leading team and specialist meetings and conducting case discussions
* Checking quality standards, combined with statistical evaluations and file audits
* Leading and participating in projects, working in working groups as well as taking on coordination tasks
* Conducting internal training for personnel development
* Advising and supporting job seekers in the implementation of the AVIG

What you bring:

* Sound knowledge in the implementation of unemployment insurance according to AVIG in the public administration
* Mature personality with advanced professional training and several years of professional experience in the field of unemployment insurance, job placement or social insurance context
* Successful completion as HR specialist or social insurance specialist with a federal professional certificate
* Leadership experience as well as completed leadership training
* Good communication and focused working style
* Active and supportive collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders
* Enjoyment in dealing with people and a pronounced service mentality complete your profile

Your working environment

At the Office for Economy and Labour, we implement federal laws such as the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG), the Employment Act (AVG) and labour law (ArG). The main tasks consist of advising and placing job seekers, paying unemployment benefits to eligible persons and supervising industry and commerce with regard to occupational safety and health protection.
