Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Role:
At our ROCKEN partner, you will take responsibility for the financial statements of the Swiss companies and ensure reliable processes in accounting. As an SAP Key User FI, you will further develop financial processes and work closely with the specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the monthly financial statements in SAP ERP including account reconciliations, general ledger adjustments, as well as posting of accruals, provisions, and depreciations
Management of fixed asset accounting, conducting valuations, and handling direct taxes as well as VAT returns
Ensuring cash management including bank postings, payment runs, and financial planning
Assuming the role of SAP Key User FI with responsibility for master data maintenance, system optimisations, and efficient financial processes
Analysing and improving processes together with the specialist departments and participating in projects to further develop finance and accounting
Providing professional support to accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting as well as assisting with reporting and audits
Qualifications:
Completed commercial training with several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Further training as a specialist in finance and accounting or comparable qualification
Sound knowledge and practical experience with SAP ERP FI as well as very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
Independent, structured, and reliable working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
Team-oriented personality with interconnected thinking and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
Very good German skills; English or French skills are an advantage
