AWS Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You want to accompany companies in demanding cloud projects and develop technical solutions that also convince in productive operation? In this role, you combine AWS engineering with architectural consulting and project responsibility. You design scalable cloud landscapes, automate infrastructure, and accompany migrations from technical planning to implementation. At the same time, you bring your know-how directly into customer discussions, solution concepts, and the further development of existing managed services.
Responsibilities:
You design and implement complex AWS projects, from fundamental cloud architecture to specific solutions for security and network connections.
You further develop multi-account structures with AWS Organizations, taking into account requirements for governance, security, and networking.
You accompany the migration of existing applications to the AWS cloud and develop suitable technical migration concepts.
You operate and optimise existing AWS environments and contribute to the further development of the managed services portfolio.
You automate cloud infrastructures with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
You develop technical solution concepts, present them to customers, and support architectural decisions.
You contribute your technical expertise to the preparation of offers and support the sales department in drafting suitable proposals.
You lead projects or sub-projects and coordinate collaboration between customers, internal specialists, and other stakeholders.
You ensure with a structured approach that technical solutions are planned transparently and implemented reliably.
Qualifications:
You have a technical degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
You have at least two years of experience in the cloud environment and have already helped shape productive cloud solutions.
You have a solid knowledge of AWS solution architecture and experience with migrating applications to AWS.
You use Terraform routinely and understand the principles of infrastructure as code and automated deployment processes.
You hold an active certification as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
You have experience with scripting and integrating technical services via REST APIs.
Ideally, you have additional AWS certifications in the areas of security or advanced networking.
You work precisely, structured, and independently and keep an overview even with complex tasks.
You are service-oriented, helpful, and communicate confidently with different stakeholders.
You have fluent German skills and very good English skills for technical discussions and documentation.
