For a long-term care institution in the Bern region, we are looking for a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH 60-100% with Specialist Responsibility for Dementia. You work directly in a protected living area for people with dementia-related illnesses and at the same time take on an organisation-wide specialist mandate. The focus is on person-centred care, professional advice and the further development of dementia care.

Your expertise works on two levels

• Accompany people with dementia-related illnesses directly in everyday care and shape person-centred and appreciative support
• Support employees in complex situations and promote professional reflection within the teams
• Further develop dementia care and actively participate in the redevelopment of the dementia concept
• Convey your expertise in a practical way and work closely with the nursing expert and the residential group managers

Your professional foundation

• Diploma as a Nursing Specialist HF/FH or an equivalent qualification
• Specialist further training in the field of dementia at least at CAS level or willingness to complete it
• Experience in long-term care and in supporting people with dementia-related illnesses, gerontopsychiatric experience is an advantage
• Enjoyment in professional advice, knowledge transfer, concept and quality development as well as an independent and structured way of working
