About the job

An established IT company operates and develops highly available and security-critical IT infrastructures for organisations with particularly high demands on availability, data protection and IT security. To strengthen the security team, an experienced individual is sought to actively shape the operation and further development of modern identity and web security solutions.

Your Tasks

Design, implementation and operation of Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Identity Provider (IdP) solutions
Configuration and optimisation of WAF rules as well as continuous development of the security architecture
Integration of modern authentication methods such as Single Sign-on (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and federated identities (SAML, OpenID Connect)
Analysis of security logs, detection of attack patterns and support in handling security incidents
Carrying out upgrades, patching and performance optimisations in highly available system landscapes
Ensuring compliance with service and change management processes
Advising development and application teams on the secure integration of their applications
Close collaboration with security, infrastructure and operations teams as well as external partners

Our Requirements

Completed training or degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in operating and further developing Web Application Firewalls and identity management solutions
Sound knowledge of modern authentication and federation standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect and SAML
Very good knowledge of HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, certificate management and TCP/IP
Experience with web technologies, APIs, REST, JSON and vulnerability analyses
Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
Team-oriented personality with strong customer focus and willingness for continuous further training
Willingness to take responsibility in critical system events or disruptions
