Role:
The modern workplace is developing rapidly, and this position is right at the heart of it. As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you will design a future-proof client and mobile platform within the Microsoft 365 (M365) system landscape. You will contribute your own ideas and consistently automate recurring processes. You can expect an environment where technical curiosity and service orientation are equally valued.
Responsibilities:
You manage clients and applications and automate software deployments with Microsoft Intune
You monitor and optimise endpoint security solutions and ensure a high level of security through regular updates and patch management
Furthermore, you administer Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
You analyse disruptions in the workplace environment and resolve them within incident and problem management
Additionally, you procure hardware and software and manage onboarding and offboarding processes including permissions and licences
You also maintain the technical inventory and keep documentation up to date
Qualifications:
You have completed training in IT, such as a Federal VET Diploma specialising in system technology or business informatics, a higher education degree (HF/FH), or a comparable qualification
You bring professional experience in the administration of Microsoft 365 services and Windows client environments
Sound knowledge in client management, endpoint security, patch management, and deployment automation characterises you
Furthermore, you are familiar with incident and problem management as well as fault analysis
Experience with PowerShell or a certification in the Microsoft environment is a plus
You work independently, think analytically, and communicate confidently in German; English helps you in everyday life
