Role:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced professional for execution planning, detailed planning and working drawings in building construction with solid knowledge of ArchiCAD. You will independently handle demanding architectural projects from the building permit stage and develop technically well-considered execution and construction details. The focus is on CAD-supported working drawings, specialist planner coordination, quality assurance, and collaboration with site managers, contractors and authorities. The position offers a varied field of activity with high personal responsibility and the opportunity to actively shape modern architectural projects from planning to construction implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Independent execution planning in building construction from the legally binding building permit to construction realisation

• Creation of execution, working and detail plans with ArchiCAD considering constructive, functional and design requirements

• Development of technically demanding construction details focusing on materialisation, connections and construction feasibility

• Processing and coordination of working drawing documents ensuring complete, precise and execution-ready plan documentation

• Preparation of ancillary building law submissions in cooperation with responsible authorities and offices after the building permit has been granted

• Coordination of specialist engineers and planners with alignment of technical interfaces within execution planning

• Review of external execution and workshop plans from specialist planners, suppliers and contractors for compliance with project specifications

• Collaboration with site management and contractors to clarify constructive issues and optimise construction implementation

• Participation in planning and execution meetings with active handling of technical issues and coordination of necessary plan adjustments

• Quality assurance of architectural planning with control of plan documents regarding completeness, dimensional accuracy and compliance with relevant Swiss building standards

• Coordination with clients and authorities on technical clarifications, permit conditions and project-specific requirements

• Continuous optimisation of execution details and planning processes with development of economical, sustainable and architecturally high-quality solutions

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a Draftsperson EFZ specialising in Architecture, Technician HF Building Construction or Architect FH/ETH or a comparable construction-technical qualification

• Several years of professional experience in Swiss execution planning with solid knowledge in independently handling building construction projects

• Very good ArchiCAD skills as well as practical experience in creating execution, working and detail plans

• Profound expertise in detail construction, working drawings and construction processes with a secure understanding of materials, connections and constructive solutions

• Good knowledge of Swiss building standards and relevant SIA regulations as well as experience with building law requirements and approval procedures

• Independent, precise and quality-conscious working style with organisational skills, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for modern architecture

• Very good German language skills and strong communication abilities for professional collaboration with clients, authorities, specialist planners, site managers and contractors
