Junior Fiduciary Officer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role as a fiduciary clerk, you will immerse yourself in a varied environment that offers exciting insights into a wide range of companies and industries. You will independently take on tasks in financial accounting and ensure the correct and efficient handling of accounting processes. Additionally, you will work in payroll accounting, ensuring precise and timely processing. Furthermore, you will handle matters related to taxes and collaborate with a partner office in the field of auditing. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to comprehensive fiduciary service for clients.
Responsibilities:
- You independently process payroll runs for monthly and hourly wage mandates
- In this role, you take on personnel administration including social insurance, health and accident notifications, as well as salary certificates and year-end declarations
- As a fiduciary clerk, you manage accounts payable, prepare payment runs, and process payments via e-banking or the digital document platform with clients
- You assist in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as closing entries in financial accounting
- In this role, you help build cost accounting systems and prepare tax returns for natural and legal persons
- As a fiduciary clerk, you prepare VAT returns and support general administrative tasks and client enquiries
Qualifications:
- You have completed initial training (e.g., commercial apprenticeship, business school, or comparable basic education).
- Ideally, you have further training in fiduciary services, finance and accounting, or a comparable qualification.
- You bring several years of practical experience in fiduciary services or accounting.
- You have a confident command of the German language, both written and spoken.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with accounting software (preferably Topal, Bexio, or Abacus).
- You work carefully, precisely, and in a structured manner and are characterised by independence, trustworthiness, responsibility, and integrity.
