Designer Fluid Technology (m/f/d)

In this position, you develop sophisticated valve and fluid solutions from the initial concept idea to successful series implementation. You design innovative mechanical products, accompany their entire lifecycle, and ensure technically flawless documentation. In close collaboration with internal specialists, suppliers, and international customers, you contribute your expertise and actively drive the advancement of modern valve technologies.
Responsibilities:
Development and design of innovative valve solutions throughout the entire product creation process
Support of projects from the concept phase through technical elaboration to series release
Elaboration and evaluation of technical concepts as well as development of economical and reliable solutions
Support of existing products throughout the entire product lifecycle
Creation, maintenance, and optimisation of technical documentation and product materials
Analysis of technical requirements and translation of customer needs into marketable products
Collaboration with lead engineers, application engineers, suppliers, and customers on development projects
Support in technical clarifications and solution finding with international partners
Use and further development of CAD and PDM structures for efficient product development
Occasional customer and supplier visits within Europe
Continuous expansion of expertise in the field of valve and sealing technology
Qualifications:
Completed studies in mechanical engineering or comparable technical education
Alternatively, several years of experience as a designer with solid practice in the development of mechanical products
Several years of professional experience in the development of technically demanding components and assemblies
Good knowledge of CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks, as well as experience with PDM systems
Experience in mechanical product development, design, and technical documentation
Ideally knowledge in valve technology, sealing technology, or fluid technology
Strong ability to analyse technical challenges and develop innovative solutions
Customer-oriented mindset and enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external contacts
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High initiative, curiosity, and motivation to actively drive technical developments
Very good English skills; French and/or Italian skills are an advantage
Fluent German skills
