Construction Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Construction Project Manager for Building Construction to independently manage demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects. You will take overall responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and profitability and accompany the construction projects from planning and tendering through to realisation and handover. The focus is on construction management, tendering and awarding, contracts for work, construction scheduling as well as the leadership of contractors and specialist planners. The position is situated in a professional environment of general planning, construction management as well as general and total contracting and relies on consistently digital project processes.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and control of new build, conversion and renovation projects across all relevant project phases
Overall responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and economic project success
Creation and ongoing monitoring of project, construction schedule and timeline programmes
Management of the entire tendering and awarding process including offer comparison and awarding proposals
Negotiation, creation and handling of contracts for work as well as processing of claims
Leadership and coordination of contractors, specialist planners and other project participants
Organisation and supervision of construction sites and execution processes including quality and performance controls
Conducting and leading of construction, planning and coordination meetings including minute-taking and action item management
Responsibility for construction cost controlling, invoice verification, forecasts and project accounting
Central contact person for clients, investors, authorities, architects and specialist planners
Preparation of project reports, construction site documentation and decision-making bases
Further development of digital construction management processes and internal project standards to optimise project execution
Qualifications:
Training as a certified construction manager, HF technician in building construction, FH/ETH architect or FH/ETH civil engineer or equivalent further education based on a technical construction background
Experience in project and construction management of Swiss building construction projects
Sound knowledge in tendering, awarding, contract law, cost management and site management
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and MS Project, experience with Messerli construction administration is an advantage
Experience with digital and paperless project and construction processes
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
Valid category B driving licence
