Role:
Do you want to combine your technical understanding with commercial tasks? In the role of Operational Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d), you will take on an important role in material procurement, manage suppliers, and ensure smooth purchasing processes together with internal departments.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for operational material procurement and accompany purchase orders from requirements clarification to goods receipt.
You analyse supplier offers, compare economic conditions, and support the selection of suitable sources of supply.
You conduct price and terms negotiations and maintain cooperation with existing business partners.
You handle discrepancies in orders or deliveries and find suitable solutions together with suppliers.
You ensure timely material supply in coordination with production and work preparation.
You identify optimisation opportunities in purchasing processes and contribute to their further development.
You ensure reliable maintenance of purchasing data and monitor open orders using common IT systems.
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical vocational training and ideally have further training in process management.
You bring practical experience in industrial purchasing or a comparable field.
You are familiar with supplier relationships, offer comparisons, and commercial procurement conditions.
You have a good understanding of operational production processes and material supply.
You work confidently with ERP systems and common MS Office applications.
You impress with initiative, organisational talent, a structured working style, and a confident manner in communication with various contacts.
You have very good German skills and good English skills.
