About the job
Do you lead with foresight, keep an overview even in complex approval procedures, and know how to bring people and departments together? Then take over the team leadership for building permits of the Canton of Lucerne and, together with your team, be responsible for assessing demanding building applications as well as cantonal statements and unified decisions.
Your tasks
- You lead a qualified team of six employees both professionally and personally and promote their professional as well as personal development.
- You advise building owners, planners, municipalities and authorities on demanding construction and procedural legal issues.
- Within your area of responsibility, you coordinate all cantonal approval procedures and ensure legally compliant, timely and high-quality processing of building applications.
- When balancing the interests of the various stakeholders, you proceed carefully and develop practical and sustainable solutions.
- You represent the department in projects and working groups, actively contribute your expertise to the further development of processes, services and digital working methods, and promote cross-departmental collaboration with municipalities, cantonal specialist offices and other stakeholders.
Your profile
- You have a degree HF/FH in civil engineering, architecture, building technician or comparable, or an equivalent qualification with specialist further training in public building law.
- You bring many years of professional and ideally leadership experience in construction or public administration.
- Sound knowledge of spatial planning and building law as well as preferably road, hydraulic engineering and water protection law complete your profile.
- You are characterised by a structured, solution-oriented and responsible way of working and make well-founded decisions even in demanding situations.
- You communicate confidently and appropriately for the audience and convince with your high social competence and resilience.
