Our client: Geneva SME, is looking for a replacement due to retirement

Job description :

• General accounting: full maintenance of accounts, debtors and creditors, treasury, VAT, fixed assets, periodic closings, annual closing and preparation of the balance sheet and financial statements.
• Management control: budget monitoring, cost and margin analysis, variance control, financial forecasting and creation of dashboards for management.
• Procedure improvement: analysis and optimisation of accounting and administrative processes, strengthening controls and simplifying working methods.
• IT tools: excellent command of Abacus and Microsoft 365, with advanced expertise in Excel, particularly for data analysis, pivot tables, Power Query and automation.
• Artificial intelligence: identification and implementation of solutions to streamline tasks, automate repetitive operations and improve productivity, while respecting data confidentiality.
• Collaboration with management: production of reliable financial information, monitoring of key indicators and concrete proposals to improve company performance.

Profile:

• Higher education in accounting
• Proven experience of several years in a similar position
• Excellent command of Abacus and advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365.
• Good skills in management control and financial analysis. Strong interest in digitalisation, automation and artificial intelligence.
• Experience in tourism or services is an asset.
• Valid work permit in Switzerland
