Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a specialist as a Civil Engineer / Civil Technician in Civil Engineering for the planning and management of diverse infrastructure projects. You will work on projects in the areas of road construction, water engineering and urban drainage and independently oversee these through several project phases depending on experience. You will coordinate clients, authorities and contractors and ensure technically, timely and economically flawless project execution. Additionally, you will contribute to the further development of digital and BIM-based planning processes in infrastructure construction.
Responsibilities:
Planning and, depending on experience, independent project management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across several SIA project phases
Handling projects in the fields of road construction, general civil engineering, water engineering and urban drainage
Development of preliminary, construction and execution projects including technical reports, plans and project documentation
Planning and coordination of utility lines, drainage systems and road infrastructures considering existing facilities
Preparation of variant studies, cost estimates and cost proposals as well as technical and economic evaluation of different solutions
Participation in tenders and submissions including specifications, offer comparisons and award documentation
Responsibility for the technical, timely and qualitative project execution as well as support in cost controlling
Coordination and technical alignment with clients, municipalities, authorities, specialist planners and construction companies
Application of relevant SIA and VSS standards as well as technical guidelines for Swiss infrastructure and civil engineering
Participation in BIM and model-based planning processes and further development of digital working methods in civil engineering
Depending on experience, technical coordination and leadership of a small project team consisting of engineers and draftsmen
Qualifications:
Degree as Civil Engineer FH/ETH or certified technician HF in construction planning / civil engineering or comparable higher technical education
Professional experience or solid training knowledge in road construction, civil engineering, water engineering or urban drainage
Knowledge of relevant SIA and VSS standards as well as Swiss planning and construction practice
Experience in planning, tendering and/or construction management of infrastructure projects is an advantage
User knowledge in CAD and digital planning tools; experience with BIM in infrastructure construction is an advantage
Knowledge in cost planning, tendering and project administration is an advantage
Very good German language skills for technical documentation and collaboration with clients and authorities
