As an IT System Engineer, you take on the planning, implementation and operation of modern Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management (DMS) and Workflow solutions. You support customers in the introduction and operation of the systems, ensure smooth operation of the infrastructure and actively contribute to the further development of our cloud and system landscape. In doing so, you bring your technical know-how into exciting customer projects and contribute to the continuous optimisation of our solutions and services.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementation and support of ECM, DMS and workflow solutions including their extensions and interfaces.
Support of customers and partners in the introduction, configuration and further development of the system landscape as well as with technical challenges.
Operation, maintenance and continuous optimisation of the cloud and server infrastructure to ensure high availability.
Setup, management and maintenance of test, development and demo environments to support internal projects and product presentations.
Analysis, troubleshooting and performance optimisation of the systems as well as collaboration in the further development of existing solutions and processes.
Qualifications:
Successfully completed training in computer science (EFZ) or a degree (HF, FH or university) with a focus on computer science.
Several years of practical experience as a system engineer or in a similar technical role with a focus on infrastructure and application operation.
Sound knowledge in the installation, configuration and operation of on-premise applications as well as experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
Technical know-how in various areas such as databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL), virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), network (proxy, DMZ) or cloud solutions.
Very good German skills and good English skills as well as an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working with a strong customer focus.
