The company offers an interesting framework for an early-career professional wishing to develop their skills and gradually take on more responsibilities. This opportunity is particularly aimed at someone who has recently completed higher education in finance or accounting and wishes to put their knowledge into practice. They are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team and work on a varied accounting scope within their Swiss entity.
Your tasks with your new employer
- You will be involved in the entire accounting cycle of the Swiss entity and develop a comprehensive view of accounting through the general ledger, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
- You will actively participate in monthly closings and the preparation of Group reporting, while progressively developing your skills in analysing variances between results, budgets, and forecasts
- You will perform account reconciliations and contribute to various financial controls to ensure data quality and compliance with internal, external, and SOX requirements
- You will take part in daily cash management, monitor liquidity, and assist in preparing cash flow analyses and forecasts alongside various financial contacts
- You will develop your expertise in VAT by participating in reconciliations, preparing quarterly returns, and various tax-related tasks for the Group
- You will work closely with the Finance Manager and different financial teams and participate in the continuous improvement of processes and the evolution of accounting tools
You offer your new employer
- You have completed or recently finished higher education in finance or accounting, such as a Federal Diploma, Bachelor, Master, or an equivalent qualification
- You have some initial experience in accounting or finance and now wish to join a comprehensive role that allows you to consolidate your knowledge and gradually broaden your expertise
- You are proficient in French and English, both spoken and written, and your knowledge of German is an additional asset in this international environment
- You are comfortable with financial tools and ERP systems such as D365 Finance & Operations as well as Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and appreciate digitalised environments
- You are curious, rigorous, and organised, enjoy teamwork, and can communicate easily with various contacts while eager to learn and gain autonomy
