Business Development Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You identify market opportunities, analyse customer needs, and keep an eye on the competition - turning your insights into concrete business opportunities.

• You develop clever acquisition strategies, convince OEM customers of your capabilities, and fill the lead pipeline with promising contacts.

• You advise on an equal footing, bringing together customer wishes and internal expertise to create tailored solution packages.

• You scrutinise enquiries with a keen eye: Is it feasible? Does the manufacturing fit? Are material, sterilisation, packaging, and regulatory requirements met?

• You calculate, assess, and evaluate: business cases, costs, investments, pricing models, and scaling scenarios - all authored by you.

• You are the face of the Global Focus Unit Medical at trade fairs and industry events - present, convincing, connected.

What do I need to be successful?

• You have a degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification - plus genuine sales experience with plastic components and assemblies.

• You know the CMO/CDMO business in medical technology or pharmaceuticals from several years of practice and can demonstrate proven success in OEM acquisition.

• ISO 13485 and GMP are not foreign words to you but daily companions. If you also know MDR and sterile goods standards: even better.

• You understand how manufacturing works: processes, materials, sterilisation, packaging, product life cycles - you speak the language of production.

• Business cases, cost calculations, price structures, forecasts, contract details - you confidently juggle numbers and facts.

• You communicate clearly, negotiate skilfully, and get even complex technical topics to the point.

• You think entrepreneurially, take initiative, work in a structured way, and enjoy travelling - willingness to travel is a given for you.

• You speak fluent German and English. Other languages? Welcome.
