At our business centre in Liebefeld-Bern, we develop innovative high-tech products. A key focus lies on measurement technology, optical sensors, and algorithms. We work on technologically demanding and interdisciplinary systems for medical and industrial applications. We support our national and international customers in innovation projects and accompany development projects from the initial idea through design and conception to industrialisation. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a dynamic individual with proven expertise in signal processing and computer vision.
Area of Activity
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will immerse yourself in the world of technology and product development for various high-tech industries. You will apply your solid technical knowledge in signal processing and computer vision by quickly grasping new tasks, developing creative solutions, efficiently producing high-quality code, and presenting results attractively. You explain and represent your contributions to specialists from other fields in an understandable manner. With each day, you grow into increasingly demanding projects and network internally as a sought-after expert. You adapt your approach to meet customer priorities in the balancing act of scope, quality, cost, and deadlines. You document and verify code to meet the highest regulatory requirements (e.g. Medtech). You consider systems holistically to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities beyond your primary discipline. You enjoy applying your knowledge across various industries, including consumer, medtech, industrial, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, with several years of professional experience
- Solid knowledge in the design and experimental characterisation of optical systems such as cameras, lenses, and lighting
- Strong expertise in algorithm development, both rule-based and learning-based
- In-depth experience in robust software design and team software development using Git
- Good knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and visualisation of complex data sets
- Ability to clearly document and communicate technical content at different levels of abstraction, e.g. with hardware specialists
- Enjoyment of diverse tasks throughout the entire product development cycle and collaboration with various industries
