Forklift Operator / Logistics & Production Operator

Our client, active in the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, chemistry and sciences, based in Chavornay (VD), is looking for a Forklift Operator / Logistics & Production Operator to strengthen their logistics and tank cleaning service. The position is located in a demanding industrial environment, with regulated production processes and high quality standards. The activity includes participation in the various stages of the production process, management of goods movements in the warehouse, as well as tank cleaning in compliance with internal procedures. The company emphasises reliability, safety and rigour, and expects the engaged person to work in a structured manner, respecting instructions and the 3-shift rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the various stages of the production process by following instructions, notably for tank cleaning operations according to internal procedures.
• Use forklift licences S2, R1 and R2 to handle goods, particularly with a reach mast, safely and regularly in the logistics area.
• Ensure the preparation, movement and storage of products and tanks in the warehouse, respecting safety rules and quality standards of the chemical industry.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure good coordination of flows, taking into account the constraints related to the 3-shift schedule.
• Strictly apply instructions related to the absence of allergies to chemical products or solvents and report any incident or anomaly during cleaning operations.

Profile

• Proven professional experience in an industrial environment
• Forklift licence S2 + R1 & R2 (S2/R1: ease, recent & regular practice of reach mast)
• Participate in the various stages of the production process, especially tank cleaning

• No known allergies to chemical products or solvents

• Available to work in 3-shift rotation

• Reliable, punctual and flexible person

• Ideally residing in the region to facilitate travel related to the schedule

• Clean criminal record

• Immediate availability

• No planned absences
