Jewellery Maker

Mandated by one of our clients, a company from La Chaux-de-Fonds, active in high-end jewellery, we are looking to strengthen their teams with a:

Jewellery Maker (m/f)

Analyse the specifications and design drawings and define the technical characteristics of the product.

* Translate the aesthetic intention into a technically feasible and industrialisable solution.

* Propose and compare technical solutions by integrating manufacturing, quality and cost constraints.

* Design products and tooling (cutting tools, jigs and various devices necessary for production).

* Integrate machining, clamping and rework constraints from the design stage.

* Participate in the choice of manufacturing processes and define manufacturing ranges.

* Define, with production managers, the setup times and production rates.
Technical files and production data

* Create 3D models, plans and technical files.

* Provide the data necessary for the ERP/MES (Bill of materials, process plans, ...)

* Ensure technical liaison with CNC programmers and setters and adapt CAD volumes if necessary

- Senior technician, engineer or equivalent in the field of mechanical design

- Minimum 5 years successful experience in jewellery

- Proficiency in CAD software (ideally Solidworks), MES and office suite
