CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the construction management of demanding residential building projects in the Oensingen area. You will take over the operational control of the execution and ensure compliance with quality, costs and deadlines on the construction site. In doing so, you coordinate contractors, specialist planners and suppliers, accompany tenders and awards, and are responsible for the proper implementation of the planning. The focus is on a structured realisation of residential building projects in the Swiss building construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of residential building projects from work preparation to handover and project completion
Coordination and leadership of contractors, specialist planners, specialists and suppliers during the execution phase
Creation and monitoring of schedule and construction programmes with MS Project as well as early initiation of measures in case of deviations
Responsibility for ongoing cost, quality and schedule control on the construction site
Support with tenders, offer comparisons and awards as well as accompanying contract management
Conducting construction meetings, preparing minutes and consistent follow-up of pending issues and decisions
Checking the execution with regard to working drawings, details, specifications and Swiss building standards
Conducting quality controls, acceptance and defect management as well as coordinating defect rectification
Handling construction cost administration with Messerli Bauad, including measurement, invoice and supplementary control
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, building services and executing companies
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
Accompanying commissioning, handovers and construction completion work including construction documentation
Qualifications:
Federal VET diploma in main or secondary construction trade with further training as a construction manager, certified technician HF in construction planning/architecture or comparable qualification
Several years of construction management and execution experience in Swiss building construction, ideally in residential construction
Sound knowledge of tendering, awarding, contracts, cost control and execution coordination
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
User knowledge of Messerli Bauad and MS Project
Experience in acceptance, defect management and construction cost administration
Good German language skills spoken and written
