Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher (M/F/D) – Permanent Full-Time – Vallée de Joux

On behalf of our client, a dynamic establishment located in the heart of the Vallée de Joux, we are looking for a motivated and versatile Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to complete the kitchen team for a permanent position.

• Location: Vallée de Joux (VD)

• Contract type: Permanent position (CDI)

• Work rate: 100%

• Hours: Variable hours with split shifts and one weekend out of two worked (availability required evenings, weekends and public holidays, according to the establishment’s needs)

• Start date: From October 2026

Main duties:

• Ensure washing, disinfecting and tidying of dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain constant cleanliness of the dishwashing area to always provide clean equipment for the kitchen and service.

• Assist the kitchen team in preparing ingredients (peeling, cutting), setting up dishes and cooking under supervision.

• Clean and disinfect work surfaces, equipment, pantry and storage areas in strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

• Provide occasional support to the dining service and during setup for special events
  

Profile sought:

• Previous successful experience in a similar kitchen role

• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and hygiene/cleaning rules in catering.

• Organisational skills, team spirit and good time management to handle busy periods.

• Ability to work under pressure, versatility and concern for customer satisfaction.

• Excellent physical condition and thoroughness in work.
