Project Manager: Mobility and Traffic Planning (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Traffic Planning & Mobility for diverse projects throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland. You will take on the technical and organisational leadership of demanding projects in the areas of traffic planning, mobility concepts and traffic analysis and lead interdisciplinary project teams. In addition to project work, client consulting, acquisition and expansion of existing client relationships are part of your responsibilities. For handling complex traffic-related issues, modern modelling, simulation and planning tools such as VISUM, VISSIM, VisWalk and CAD are used.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of demanding projects in the areas of traffic planning and mobility
Development and processing of traffic, access and mobility concepts
Conducting and evaluating traffic analyses, traffic forecasts and variant studies
Application of traffic modelling and microsimulation to assess different planning scenarios
Handling issues related to motorised individual traffic, public transport as well as pedestrian and bicycle traffic
Technical leadership and coordination of project teams and other planning partners
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and project objectives
Consulting municipalities, cantons, public clients and private developers
Preparation of studies, technical reports, decision-making bases and presentations
Use of VISUM / TransCAD as well as VISSIM / VisWalk for traffic models and simulations
Support and independent participation in acquisition, offers and tenders
Maintenance of existing and development of new client and customer relationships in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
Qualifications:
University degree in traffic engineering, civil engineering, spatial planning or a comparable field
At least 5 years of professional experience in the traffic sector
Proven experience in project management and leading project teams
Experience in project acquisition, offer processing and client support
Knowledge of VISUM, TransCAD, VISSIM, VisWalk and/or CAD is an advantage
Existing network with clients in the Swiss traffic and mobility environment is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
