Role:
A specialised Swiss professional organisation dealing with the protection and further development of intellectual property. The focus is on topics such as trademarks, patents, designs and copyright as well as the professional support of companies, researchers and other stakeholders on questions relating to innovation and protection rights.
Employees deal with demanding issues, work interdisciplinarily and help create reliable frameworks for innovation and competition.
Responsibilities:
You take professional responsibility for reliable financial accounting and manage all recurring processes based on defined monthly checklists.
From general and subsidiary ledgers to bank and cash, you ensure correct reconciliations and provide transparent and audit-proof documentation.
You are responsible for the preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and act as a contact person for accounting discrepancies and complex matters.
In your coordination role, you lead three employees professionally, prioritise tasks and support the team with demanding business cases.
You identify improvement potentials in financial processes and support their further development and digitalisation.
Qualifications:
A solid further education in finance and accounting.
You bring several years of experience in operational accounting as well as in the professional leadership or coordination of employees.
Sound knowledge of manual bookkeeping and independent experience with monthly and annual financial statements are required.
Your strength lies in a structured, solution-oriented and service-oriented working style as well as clear communication.
Very good German or French skills and good knowledge of the other language complete your profile.
