How you create value

You will become part of a team of platform engineers who operate and further develop the internal platforms end-to-end. Together, you are responsible for the entire infrastructure stack - from compute, storage, network, and virtualisation through Linux as well as Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms to IaaS and PaaS services. You work daily on cross-cutting topics such as security, backup, monitoring, logging, IAM, and automation.

• You operate and continuously develop our enterprise platforms as well as the Linux, Kubernetes, and OpenShift infrastructures
• You ensure the stability, performance, security, and availability of our platforms
• You consistently automate and standardise infrastructure processes with modern tools
• You analyse complex disruptions and resolve root causes sustainably rather than just symptoms
• You work closely with architecture, security, and engineering teams and actively contribute your infrastructure know-how to the platform’s further development

What makes you the ideal candidate

• Experience in operating and further developing complex Linux and enterprise infrastructures
• A good understanding of infrastructure and experience with compute, storage, network, and virtualisation topics
• Experience in automating infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or comparable technologies as well as working with Git
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift is an advantage
• Enjoyment in operating, further developing, and continuously improving enterprise platforms holistically
• An independent, structured working style and enthusiasm for analysing complex technical contexts and developing sustainable solutions
