Apprenticeship as Commercial Employee EFZ (2027)

The Insel Group offers between 6 - 7 apprenticeships annually as Commercial Employee EFZ in the healthcare sector.

What to expect

• As a commercial employee, you will manage the administrative area of our hospital. You will work in various departments such as patient administration and admission, outpatient clinic reception, clinical secretariat, finance, purchasing or human resources
• In your work, you will often be in direct contact with patients and relatives, as you support the medical staff at the forefront with the administrative processing of diagnoses, treatments and therapies
• You coordinate consultations, appointment scheduling, patient referrals and negotiate with customers on the phone
• Your training also takes place behind the scenes of the operation
• You check and post invoices and receipts, process offers and orders
• You change your workplace approximately every six months to receive a broad and lively commercial training in our large company

What you bring with you

• You have completed compulsory schooling (secondary school or intermediate school with 10th school year) with a good grade average and master the ten-finger typing system
• If you have completed the gymnasial Matura or specialised Matura, you can shorten the apprenticeship to 2 years
• You are an open personality, eager to learn and enjoy contributing to a team
• Additionally, you have good manners, are sociable and reliable
