A Cook

Social housing aimed at marginalised or vulnerable people, Résidence Les Sources wishes to complete its team and is looking, to replace our kitchen manager, for a start immediately on a fixed-term contract:

Depending on the development within the kitchen team and the needs of the Residence, this contract could evolve into a permanent contract.

Job description:

• Creation, preparation and service of balanced menus, in collaboration with the kitchen team
• Preparation of homemade products (chips, desserts, etc.)
• Participation in stock and foodstuff management as well as in placing orders
• Participation in supervising and supporting our active residents in the kitchen
• Participation in cleaning and maintenance of premises and kitchen equipment
• Collaboration in the general smooth running of the kitchen

Your profile:

You hold a Cook’s Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or an equivalent qualification. You have professional experience in cooking. You are interested in working in a social context and with a vulnerable population. You are a dynamic, autonomous and organised person, showing flexibility and a great capacity to adapt. Comfortable working in a team, you are attentive, caring and appreciate human relations. You are motivated to take on new challenges and to invest yourself in a project that places cooking and sharing meals at the heart of the Residence’s life.
