AI Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an AI & Digital Process Development Architect to connect architectural practice, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. You analyse existing planning and work processes, identify suitable AI use cases, and develop practical pilot solutions for everyday architectural work. Successful approaches are further developed by you into scalable workflows, automations, and standards and introduced within the company. The position combines profound architectural understanding with AI, process optimisation, and digital innovation.
Responsibilities:
Analyse existing architecture, planning, and company processes regarding automation and optimisation potential
Identify and prioritise meaningful AI use cases along the digital project chain
Design and independently lead AI pilot projects with clearly defined goals and success criteria
Develop and test AI-supported workflows, templates, and automations
Link different digital tools via no-code/low-code platforms, interfaces, or scripting
Evaluate AI solutions in terms of quality, time savings, reliability, and practical applicability
Further develop successful prototypes into standardised and reusable applications
Integrate new solutions into existing architecture, BIM, and project processes
Create documentation, guidelines, and application templates for operational use
Conduct internal training and knowledge transfer for architecture and project teams
Collect and evaluate user feedback and continuously optimise implemented solutions
Ensure responsible handling of project information, data quality, and AI-generated results
Qualifications:
Completed studies as an architect ETH/FH/university with practical professional experience in architectural projects
Profound understanding of the planning, coordination, and execution processes of an architectural office
Practical experience with AI-supported workflows and automations, beyond merely using generative chat applications
Knowledge of no-code/low-code automation, scripting, or API/interface connections is an advantage
Experience with BIM, digital planning systems, or data-based architectural processes is an advantage
Ability to translate digital improvement potentials into concrete, scalable applications and processes
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
