We operate a portfolio of facilities including more than 40 hydroelectric power stations with an installed capacity of about 22% of the Swiss hydroelectric fleet (25% including pumped storage). Together, these facilities produce nearly 16% of Swiss hydroelectric energy.

Manager of Hydroelectric Facilities
Workplace: Le Châtelard-Village, Nant de Drance plant
Your mission:
With a team of more than 25 people, you ensure the management of the assigned facilities by guaranteeing optimal and efficient operation in compliance with the company’s certifications and maintaining good external relations.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of people, property, and the environment, as well as compliance with safety directives and measures
- Manage projects and their execution within cost, time, and quality constraints
- Manage and develop the personnel of the Hydroelectric Operations Group (GEH)
- Organise work to ensure optimal utilisation of staff
- Operate and maintain the assigned production and distribution facilities in accordance with budgetary provisions and production and performance objectives
- Propose operating and investment budgets
Your skills:
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as electrician, automation technician, mechanic or equivalent trade, with a federal diploma as maintenance manager or a university of applied sciences engineer in the mentioned fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hydroelectric production or industry in a similar role
- Proven experience in personnel management
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations and workload fluctuations
- Very good command of IT tools
