About our client

For our client, an established biopharmaceutical manufacturer near Lucerne, we seek an Upstream Process Operations Specialist (m/w/d). The company expands its GMP manufacturing of early-phase therapies via continuous and fed-batch processes.

Your responsibilities as Upstream Process Operations Specialist (m/w/d)

• Set up, run and troubleshoot upstream unit operations under GMP
• Draft and revise SOPs and electronic master batch records; review related documentation
• Manage materials via SAP and ensure compliance with GMP and EHS standards
• Support continuous improvement and new technologies, incl. non-GMP engineering runs
• Join sampling activities and on-call duties per schedule (no regular shift work)

What you bring to the role

• A degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline
• Around 0–2 years of experience in pharma or biotech
• An analytical, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
• Composure under pressure in a GMP environment
• Fluent German (C1) and solid English (B2+)
• Residence near Schachen (LU) or willingness to relocate, driver's licence (B) and own car
• Ideally prior bioreactor experience and familiarity with DeltaV and PAS-X
