Role:
In this role, you actively shape modern cloud infrastructures and ensure their stable, secure, and high-performance availability. You take on the planning, implementation, and further development of cloud system landscapes and seamlessly integrate them into existing environments. You are responsible for the operation, monitoring, and automation of the platforms and ensure continuous optimisation of processes and services. Additionally, you analyse and resolve faults, support demanding projects with your system engineering expertise, and contribute your knowledge to architecture and technology decisions. Through your experience, you act as a competent contact person for technical questions regarding cloud systems.
Responsibilities:
You design, implement, and maintain cloud environments based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
In this role, you monitor, manage, and optimise cloud resources for high performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
As a Microsoft engineer, you support hybrid cloud architectures and integrate on-premises systems with cloud platforms.
You implement and operate modern cloud security solutions such as Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Microsoft Defender.
In this role, you plan and execute cloud migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects.
You work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to continuously develop cloud services.
Qualifications:
- Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Microsoft Intune
- Solid understanding of fundamental network technologies, especially DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewalls
- Structured, careful, and independent working style with a high quality standard
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a highly solution-oriented approach to complex tasks
- Very good communication skills to convey complex technical matters clearly
- High affinity for cloud technologies, combined with a willingness for continuous professional development, as well as fluent English and very good German skills
