Interior Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Interior Architecture for the overall management of demanding interior fit-out projects in existing buildings. You will accompany diverse projects in areas such as workplace, education, commercial, gastronomy and hospitality from conception and planning to realisation. In doing so, you combine a high design standard with the consistent management of costs, deadlines, quality and technical interfaces and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams. As the central contact person for the client, you take responsibility for design, execution and overall project management and ensure a high-quality implementation of the interior architecture.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding interior architecture and interior fit-out projects in existing buildings
Management of projects from the concept and design phase through execution planning to realisation
Control and monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality and project objectives
Development and further processing of space, usage, materialisation and design concepts
Coordination of interdisciplinary teams from interior architecture, architecture and specialist planning
Central support and advice to clients during planning and decision-making processes
Ensuring the technical feasibility of interior fit-out, material and detail solutions
Coordination of interfaces between interior fit-out, building services, electrical planning and other specialist disciplines
Creation and review of execution, detail and fit-out plans
Support of tenders, awards and contractor coordination for interior fit-out works
Monitoring of execution as well as carrying out quality controls, acceptance and defect management
Professional support and further development of project staff within the projects for which you are responsible
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master in Interior Architecture (FH/HSLU), Architecture or comparable university education
At least 5 years of professional experience in managing complex Swiss architecture or interior fit-out projects
Sound knowledge in design, execution planning and overall project management
Good knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, construction processes and execution standards
Confident handling of Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, ideally also Vectorworks
Extensive experience in planning and realising interior fit-outs in existing buildings
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
