Role:

You want to not only manage a cloud platform but also shape it technically? As a Cloud Engineer Microsoft Azure & Entra ID, you will design a Microsoft Azure infrastructure with a lot of personal responsibility and develop it further in a targeted manner. Clean architecture, automated processes, and a reliable identity landscape are central. With Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and clear standards, you create an environment that runs securely, performantly, and economically.

Responsibilities:

• Around Microsoft Entra ID, you configure roles, enterprise applications, and app registrations and implement access requirements technically.

• You design virtual networks with subnets and network security groups (NSG) and provide compute and storage resources.

• Furthermore, you automate recurring operational processes with PowerShell and further develop cloud components via IaC.

• In the event of complex faults across network, identity, and Windows Server, you conduct thorough root cause analyses.

• You expand the modern workplace with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, and Windows 365.

• Additionally, you are responsible for logging, backup and recovery, support migrations, and optimise existing resources in terms of cost and security.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of practical experience in cloud and Windows system engineering form your foundation, including solid knowledge of server and client infrastructures.

• You know central IaaS and PaaS services in detail, from virtual machines through storage to private networking.

• You prefer to describe infrastructure as code, ideally with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Additionally, you have experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, as well as concepts for alerting and business continuity.

• You understand hybrid networks with VPN, routing, DNS, and firewalls as well as permission models with RBAC.

• Moreover, you think analytically, tackle problems solution-oriented, and communicate fluently in German while confidently using English in technical daily work.
