Senior System Engineer Data Centre (m/f/d)

The self-developed desktop solution, where hardware, users, and applications are "detached" from the operating system, offers maximum flexibility and user acceptance.
Responsibilities:
Support and administration of IT systems, servers, and network infrastructures
Independent handling of complex support tickets and technical enquiries
Analysis, resolution, and prevention of system faults as well as optimisation of IT processes
Participation in the further development and automation of IT services
Support in the implementation and maintenance of cloud and virtualisation solutions
Monitoring and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of IT environments
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as further development of the internal knowledge base
Collaboration with internal and external teams to implement IT projects
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ (system technology or platform development) or equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in system administration or IT support with a focus on Windows or Linux environments
Sound knowledge of server and network technologies as well as initial experience with virtualisation and cloud services
Experience with monitoring and automation tools is an advantage
Structured and independent working style with a strong solution orientation
Customer and service orientation combined with strong communication skills
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
