Head of Prehospital Emergency Services

As the head of the prehospital emergency services domain, you are responsible, within the Emergency and Crisis Preparedness Directorate, for leading the prehospital emergency services domain, managing its human resources, and maintaining relationships and collaborations with key partners.   

• Supervise the files handled by the domain's collaborators to have an overview and provide support when necessary 

• Ensure, in collaboration with the head of the community emergency domain, synergy and coherence of work related to prehospital and community emergency systems 

• Supervise the activities of the Event Health Office (BUSAMA). Coordinate continuous improvement work related to events 

• Supervise contractual relations as well as the monitoring of institutions with the State 

• Mobilise and unite your team in favour of implementing the strategic plan. Set objectives for collaborators and ensure follow-up. Promote a culture of feedback 

• Control the delivery of services in terms of deadlines, costs, and quality. Guarantee the application of standards and the flow of information within your entity as well as the implementation of management decisions 

• Represent the domain with partners and foster dialogue by cultivating a climate of exchange based on trust 

• Assume specific expertise related to the management of prehospital emergencies on behalf of your hierarchy.

• Master's degree in a field relevant to the role
• Title or diploma in a healthcare field (ES, Bachelor, Master, Doctorate)
• Minimum 5 years of management and project management experience and 3 years in public administration 
• Leadership
• Excellent personal organisation and time management
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
