About the job
At the heart of our finance department in Fribourg, composed of around 80 employees, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting of our Swiss entities, while ensuring compliance with current standards. You will also act as the primary contact for our various partners to ensure optimal communication and share your expertise on accounting matters.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Main accounting tasks
Monitor, reconcile and clear all GL accounts
Monitor and reconcile intercompany & intracompany accounts
Prepare and record closing entries
Prepare and explain monthly reporting
Perform and present the analytical review of monthly accounts
Document ICS controls
Promote group accounting rules
Monitor general accounting
Apply and enforce group accounting procedures
Ensure the implementation of the current internal control system
Act as a key contact for our partners (entities, houses, functions) on general accounting matters

Experience, education and professional skills:
Initial training as a commercial employee with professional maturity or equivalent, complemented by an accounting certification or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment
Good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, CO)
Excellent command of common tools (MS Office)
Initial experience with SAP is desirable
Native French speaker with good knowledge of English (B2). German is an asset
