Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
MCR Design and Strategy
- Document the operating logics of existing plants and plan them in the form of flowcharts, Process Function Plan (PFP), Continuous Function Chart (CFC), or other suitable functional supports.
- Definition and evolution of standards:
- Implement an internal documentation standard for describing MCR functional logic, in close collaboration with the automation unit.
- Establish control concepts by sub"‘group (distribution pump, heat production, etc.) and define functional and logical levels for the installations.
- Design complex flowcharts (prioritisation of triggers, management of consumption peaks, interconnection between decentralised plants).
- System Architecture: Manage the integration of PLCs and ensure the implementation of communication gateways between different industrial communication protocols.
Project Management and Technical Follow-up
- Engineering: establish MCR point lists, automation PID plans, electrical diagrams, and functional analyses.
- Prepare specifications, analyse offers, and ensure technical follow-up of contractors and subcontractors.
- Supervise sites, conduct functional tests, and validate commissioning.
- Coordinate studies and works with external partners.
- Prepare and update technical documents and write reports.
Optimisation and Support
- In close collaboration with the production sector automation unit, carry out improvement projects: diagnose and optimise existing boiler rooms from a control perspective.
- Technical support: assist operations teams (parameter setting of drives, pump integration, resolution of complex malfunctions).
Supervision and Visualisation
- Interface development: define and structure specifications for visualisation.
Prerequisites, you will need to:
- Education: HES/EPF engineer in automation, thermal engineering, or equivalent training, with solid professional expertise in MCR, and at least five years of experience in the energy sector, building automation, or industry.

- Proficiency in programming on SAIA (PG5 or QronoX) and Siemens (Siemens Industries and Siemens Building/Desigo).
- Ability to design electrical and control diagrams.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, KNX) and SCADA/Visiplus systems.
- Data analysis: ability to exploit SQL/SCADA databases for BI projects.
- Analytical mindset, ability to simplify complex technical concepts, and ease in interdisciplinary collaboration (IT, installers, operations).
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit enabling autonomous project development.
