Service Technician: Plumbing (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF80,000 - 85,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Service Technician: Plumbing for the independent management of service, repair, and maintenance orders in building technology. You will professionally carry out fault rectifications, repairs, and minor installation work on sanitary systems and advise customers directly on site. Additionally, you will record work for quotation preparation and assess the condition of existing installations. The position combines classic plumbing craftsmanship with varied service assignments and a high degree of technical responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of service, repair, and maintenance work on sanitary systems
Systematic fault detection and troubleshooting on water, wastewater, and sanitary installations
Carrying out maintenance and repair work on existing building technology systems
Repair and replacement of fittings, devices, pipes, and sanitary components
Execution of minor modifications, adjustments, and replacement installations
Technical advice to customers on repairs, replacement solutions, and system optimisations
Recording and documenting work as a basis for quotations and cost estimates
Conducting function and tightness tests as well as checking completed work
Procurement and organisation of required materials and spare parts
Preparation of work reports, service documentation, and billing bases
Compliance with relevant SVGW guidelines, hygiene, and safety regulations
Coordination of service work with customers, internal specialist departments, and other building technology trades
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a Plumber EFZ
Several years of professional experience in plumbing service, maintenance, or building technology
Sound knowledge of sanitary installations, fittings, devices, as well as water and wastewater systems
Experience in fault detection, repair, maintenance, and upkeep
Knowledge of relevant SVGW guidelines and Swiss installation regulations
Very good German language skills for customer advice and service documentation
Category B driving licence
