As a Modern Workplace & Cloud Engineer, you will take care of and further develop modern Microsoft infrastructures and support customers in the digital transformation of their IT environments. You work with current cloud technologies, optimise existing platforms and ensure that digital workplaces are operated securely, efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
You design, operate and optimise Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions with a focus on Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
You are responsible for managing modern endpoint environments including Windows Autopilot, software distribution, device configurations, security policies and compliance requirements.
You accompany demanding cloud projects, IT migrations, transitions and commissionings and support customers in further developing their IT landscapes.
You analyse and resolve complex technical challenges in 2nd-level and 3rd-level support and develop sustainable solutions for demanding IT problems.
You create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational documents and are an important technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
You have solid practical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Intune.
You possess very good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, especially in the areas of Conditional Access, identity management, group policies and hybrid scenarios.
You bring experience in endpoint management with Microsoft Intune and are familiar with Autopilot, application deployment, configuration policies and compliance policies.
You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, IaaS/PaaS services as well as modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure concepts.
You convince with a structured, solution-oriented and independent working style as well as professional customer communication in German and English.
