Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Civil Engineer / Project Manager in Civil Engineering & Infrastructure for the planning and realisation of public infrastructure projects. You will primarily work on road, utility and municipal civil engineering projects and accompany these from project development through tendering and awarding to construction execution. Depending on experience, you will take on tasks in both planning and local site management and be responsible for costs, deadlines and execution quality. At the same time, you will contribute to the further development of digital planning processes and the introduction of BIM in civil engineering.
Responsibilities:
Independent planning and management of public civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Planning and realisation of road, development and utility construction
Coordination of water, wastewater, energy and other utility systems
Handling projects from the concept and planning phase to tendering and realisation
Preparation of project, tender and execution documents
Conducting tenders, offer comparisons and awarding recommendations
Taking over local site management and coordinating the executing companies
Responsibility for cost control, schedule monitoring, quality and execution
Performing measurement, direct labour and invoice controls during realisation
Coordination with municipalities, authorities, utility owners, specialist planners and companies
Accompanying acceptances, commissioning and project completions including documentation
Participation in the introduction and further development of BIM and digital planning methods in civil engineering
Qualifications:
Degree as Civil Engineer FH/ETH or comparable higher education in civil engineering
Several years of professional experience in general or municipal civil engineering
Experience in planning and/or site management of road and utility construction
Knowledge of tendering, cost control and construction administration
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss civil engineering standards
Experience with BIM and digital planning processes in civil engineering is an advantage
