Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing machine components and systems
- Creating 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Optimising existing designs in terms of functionality and cost
- Conducting tests and simulations to validate designs
- Coordinating projects from concept phase to production
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Extensive experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, PTC Creo or SolidWorks
- Good knowledge of the application of standards and regulations in mechanical engineering
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving orientation
