Role:
The journey to the cloud is not yet complete for many companies. This is exactly where you come in and learn something new every day. As a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer, you work on projects around Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) and quickly see the impact of your work. Experienced colleagues are happy to share their knowledge with you. Mistakes are part of learning, and questions are explicitly encouraged.
Responsibilities:
You automate routine tasks with PowerShell, saving valuable time for yourself and the team.
You actively assist with migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud.
You manage central Azure services in ongoing operations and develop them further together with the team.
Furthermore, you configure cloud services in M365 and take care of Windows and mobile devices in Microsoft Intune.
You analyse disruptions, find solutions, and keep technical documentation up to date.
Additionally, you help shape identities, access, and security policies in Entra ID and roll out Conditional Access as well as Multi-Factor Authentication.
Qualifications:
You bring initial practical experience with Azure or Microsoft 365.
You know important basics in cloud security, identity management, and role models such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Ideally, you have already worked with Bicep or another infrastructure-as-code approach.
Network topics such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, or VPN do not cause you headaches. Experience with Fortinet or similar firewalls rounds off your profile.
You have a confident command of German and handle English technical texts or conversations with ease.
Furthermore, you work carefully, like to share your knowledge, and want to deepen your expertise in cloud automation and security.
