Project Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager / Construction Manager Building Construction for the independent realisation of demanding new build and refurbishment projects. You will accompany projects from the preliminary design through tendering and awarding to execution, construction accounting and warranty phase and take responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality. As the central interface, you coordinate clients, authorities, architects, specialist planners and executing companies. The focus is on residential, administrative and commercial buildings as well as technically and economically professional project management according to Swiss standards.
Responsibilities:
Independent project and construction management of demanding new build, refurbishment and renovation projects in building construction
Accompanying projects from preliminary design through realisation to project completion
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality management during the planning and execution phases
Preparation of tenders, specifications and submission documents as well as conducting offer comparisons
Preparation of awards and contracts and conducting negotiations with executing companies
Organisation and leadership of construction, contractor and coordination meetings
Coordination of interfaces between client, architecture, specialist planning, authorities and companies
Monitoring of construction execution with regard to plans, contracts, deadlines and quality requirements
Control of measurements, time reports, change orders and contractor invoices
Ongoing cost control and construction accounting as well as preparation of cost forecasts
Organisation and execution of acceptances, defect management and warranty work
Ensuring project management in accordance with relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations
Qualifications:
Training as EFZ draughtsperson architecture, certified construction manager, technician HF construction planning, FH architect or comparable construction-technical qualification
Professional experience in project or construction management of Swiss building construction projects
Knowledge of tendering, specification, awarding, construction execution and construction accounting
Experience with residential, administrative or commercial buildings is an advantage
Sound knowledge of relevant SIA standards, contracts and Swiss construction processes
Good user knowledge of construction administration software and Microsoft 365
Very good German language skills for negotiations, minute-taking and project communication
