Financial Accountant (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner develops and distributes software solutions for investment and wealth management. The company maintains branches and representations in the most important financial centres in Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities:
- You actively participate in the closing process
- You take on individual accounting tasks (e.g. accruals, reconciliations, clarifications of issues in day-to-day business)
- You are responsible for payroll accounting for two business units
- You assist with the correct declaration and settlement of social insurances
- You support budget, revenue and liquidity planning as well as internal reporting (management reporting)
- You contribute to the development of new, meaningful controlling instruments
- You deputise and provide support in special cases in the areas of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, payroll and invoicing
- You participate in exciting projects in the area of financial systems (e.g. Abacus release changes and digitalisation topics) as well as in the ongoing optimisation of processes in finance and accounting
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education with further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate, federal diploma or similar)
- You have several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- You possess solid expertise in payroll accounting and social insurances
- You have very good IT user skills (proficient in MS Office applications, experience with Abacus)
- You are characterised by your careful, precise way of working and your ability to think holistically
- You communicate confidently in German and can also communicate well in English
