The Municipality of Ecublens is looking for a building technician (M/F/D) at 100%, for the Building Services.

Your profile:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma as a building draughtsman, building technology planner, or an equivalent qualification.

• Professional experience of 10 years, including at least 3 years in project management and site supervision.

• Good command of MS Office tools and CAD software (ArchiCAD and/or AutoCAD).

• Proven skills in managing construction and renovation projects, preparing tenders, planning and monitoring works.

• Good knowledge of sustainable construction principles.

• Excellent organisational, analytical, planning skills and initiative.

• Ability to work independently while favouring constructive collaboration and a strong team spirit.

• Excellent command of French and good writing skills (reports, recommendations, etc.).

• Sense of public service and ease in relations with various stakeholders.

Main tasks:

• Perform technician duties related to the maintenance and renovation of municipal buildings.

• Lead technical projects and act as the client’s representative with contractors and companies.

• Ensure compliance with budgets and schedules.

• Participate in drafting proposals, reports and recommendations.

• Prepare service or renovation tender documents in compliance with the Public Procurement Act.

• Coordinate works with other municipal and inter-municipal services.

• Carry out various administrative tasks related to the service’s operation.
